Day-Wise Itinerary
Day 1 — Arrival in Dehradun
Pickup from the airport or railway station and transfer to your hotel. An evening briefing is held at 8:30 PM, where your weight is recorded and a duffle bag (5kg luggage limit) is issued. Overnight stay in Dehradun.
Day 2 — Yamunotri
Depart from Sahastradhara Helipad, Dehradun, and land at Kharsali Helipad. From there, a palki or pony transfer covers roughly 6km to Yamunotri Temple — about a 5-hour round trip including darshan. Return to Kharsali for an overnight stay. (₹600/pilgrim local toll tax, payable directly.)
Day 3 — Gangotri
Depart Kharsali and land at Harsil Helipad, known as “Mini Switzerland.” A 22km / roughly 50-minute drive takes you to Gangotri Temple for darshan, before returning to the resort. The evening is free — a campfire or the local woollens market are popular options. Overnight stay in Harsil.
Day 4 — Kedarnath
Depart Harsil for Guptkashi or Phata, then take a short helicopter shuttle (about 10 minutes each way) to Kedarnath Helipad, roughly 500m from the temple. VIP darshan takes about 2 hours. Return to Guptkashi or Phata; overnight stay there or at Kedarnath, weather-dependent.
Day 5 — Badrinath
Depart for Badrinath Helipad, check into your hotel near the temple, and complete darshan. In the evening, visit Mana Village — the last Indian village before the China border.
Day 6 — Return to Dehradun
An optional early-morning Abhishek Puja is available between 5:30–7:30 AM at personal cost. After breakfast, take the helicopter back to Dehradun for your airport or railway drop.

Char Dham & Kedarnath Yatra — real questions, real answers
What's the Char Dham Yatra helicopter price per person?
The Ex-Dehradun Char Dham Yatra by helicopter package starts from ₹2,10,000 per person, weight-inclusive up to 75kg and inclusive of 5% GST. A second hotel-category option is available at ₹2,20,000 per person.
Is registration mandatory for Char Dham Yatra 2026? What documents are needed?
Yes — Char Dham Yatra registration is mandatory every season. Indian pilgrims need a valid Aadhaar card, and foreign nationals need a passport, at the time of booking.
What happens if there's bad weather or a flight is cancelled?
We first attempt to reschedule your darshan for the next available day. If a Dham genuinely cannot be completed, approximately ₹20,000 per seat is refunded for that missed Dham. Hotel, food and transport costs already incurred are not compensated, since these are third-party expenses.
What's the cancellation & refund policy?
A 5% administrative fee applies to every cancellation. Cancelling 30 or more days before departure incurs a 30% charge; 20–29 days before incurs a 50% charge. Cancellations within 14 days of departure, or a no-show, are non-refundable.
What's the baggage allowance?
5kg per person, carried in a duffle bag we provide — helicopter cargo space is limited, so we ask pilgrims to pack accordingly.
Is there a weight limit for the helicopter?
Yes. Each passenger gets a free allowance of 75kg; anything above that is charged at ₹2,000/kg. All passengers are weighed before boarding, and the aircraft has a total capacity cap of 450kg.
What's included vs. excluded in the package price?
Included: the Dehradun–Dehradun helicopter circuit, meals, hotel stays, VIP darshan arrangements, helipad charges and local transport. Excluded: special pujas like the Maha Abhishek at Badrinath or Rudra Abhishek at Kedarnath, which are paid directly to the temple trusts.
What's the best time for Char Dham Yatra?
Generally between April and November, depending on weather conditions and when the portals open for the season.
Can I reschedule my booking?
Yes, if you request 15 or more days before departure — a 20% rescheduling cost applies. Requests made within 15 days of departure are treated as a cancellation.
